A delegation from the Community Police Department at Abu Dhabi Police, headed by Captain Majid Al Tamimi, director of awareness and guidance sub section discussed with Mrs. Fredrick Shimali, secretary general of Alliance Française Abu Dhabi, ways of cooperation between the community police and the French community.
Captain Al Tamimi delivered a short presentation about community police, its goals and the methods it follows in dealing with foreign communities in Abu Dhabi. He also delivered some information that concerns the French community members in terms of cooperating with them in order to settle all the problems which they might face during their stay.
For her part, Fredrick lauded the joint cooperation with the community police, pointing out the role of the Alliance Française and its relations with the French community members in Abu Dhabi, especially during the concerts and cultural events it organizes.
She expressed her readiness to cooperate with the community police in its awareness drives through distributing awareness publications and brochures.
