Symposium concluded
The UAE Police is looking forward to establishing a strong partnership with the media, said UAE Interior Minister, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior.
Balanced reporting a must for security reasons, said Lt.General Dhahi Khalfan Al Tamem general commander of Dubai police while addressing the closing session of the symposium yesterday.
Sheikh Saif said: "Both parties have a very important mission: to serve and protect the wellbeing of the society." One of the objectives of the seminar, according to Sheikh Saif, is to identify effective means for communicating accurate and true information to the public.
Major General Saeed Obaid Al Masroui congratulated the participants and the organizers for their good efforts and successful conducting of the symposium. Participants were given presents, momentos and certificates at the end of the seminar.
