During the Ministry of Interior’s council hosted by Saeed Mohammed Khalaf Al Rumaithi at his residence in Al Ain, participants called for prioritizing the UAE’s national interests above all else. Participants also stressed the importance of teamwork to promote loyalty and the sense of belonging to the country and reinforce the spirit of positive patriotism. They also called for enhancing unity between individuals and their communities within a common cultural framework, and the need to consider language and other cultural standards, as key elements for community members.
The council, held in Al Ain under the slogan “Loyalty and Belonging to the country” is part of the awareness councils organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau in cooperation with the Security Media Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The participants discussed the means to instill loyalty and belonging in the hearts of citizens, through the values of love and loyalty to the UAE, its leadership and people. They also stressed the importance of promoting these positive concepts; especially amongst the youth, and working to inculcate positive patriotism.
The participants in the council also tackled the positive values of the UAE’s people, and our role in promoting these values by nurturing the love for the deep-rooted heritage in future generations, so as to reflect in their behavior, thinking, culture, and education in the service of the UAE.
