The Ministry of Interior (MoI) honored a number of distinguished general headquarters and directorates, and departments; in addition to personnel assigned with the 2014 assessment process, in recognition of their efforts to complete the Job Performance Appraisal process for 2014.

Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of Resources and Support Services, stressed on the ongoing commitment of the MoI to advance modernization and development, and upgrade performance in order to achieve the highest levels of quality and institutional excellence.

Major General Al Menhali also noted that the MoI has adopted a comprehensive system to assess employees’ performance, which provides continuous communication between superiors and employees in order to better manage the job performance appraisal process. This approach avails of different methodologies and policies to ensure optimal implementation of the MoI’s plans and projects, and attain the highest levels of effectiveness and performance efficiency. He also praised the commitment of all staff members working at the MoI to develop work and advance it to the highest levels.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Major General Al Menhali distributed commemorative shields and certificates to officials from the distinguished general headquarters, directorates general and departments, as well as to distinguished employees who played an instrumental role in the appraisal processes.

The honoring included the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters; Umm Al Quwain Police General Headquarters; the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Fujairah; the Traffic Coordination Directorate General; and the Federal Police School. The event was attended by Directors General of Resources and Support Services and a number of senior officers at the Ministry.
