Dhibyaniah school students visit traffic directorate

A delegation from the private Dhibyaniah School, an affiliate of the Abu Dhabi-based Family Development Foundation, visited the Traffic and Patrols Directorate to offer greetings to the staff members on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the UAE national day.

Colonel Khamis Ishaq, deputy director of the directorate met with the visiting delegation and thanked them for the good gesture. He briefed them on the achievements made during the last forty years in all fields, especially traffic safety.

The students have also learned about the tasks assumed by traffic personnel to prevent them from traffic accidents. They knew the meanings of traffic signals, and were trained on many traffic behaviors such as the proper way of crossing the road, safe methods of getting in and off school buses and the importance of remaining seated when the school bus moves.
