During a preparatory meeting held at the Police Officers Club, the Sports Activities Section at the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior discussed the sports activities to be held during the last quarter of the 2015 sports season. The meeting was attended by a number of liaison officers from various departments at Abu Dhabi Police.
The attendees approved 6 sports championships for Q4 2015 sports season for the various departments at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. They include athletics; modern rowing; tactical shooting; the Iron Man championship, and bowling championships for men and women. The meeting also discussed the times and places of these championships.
The attendees also discussed the championships calendar for October, November and December, as well as the obstacles, constraints, proposals and the results achieved in past championships.
