The Strategy and Performance Development Department at Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate organized a workshop to boost the capabilities of Civil Defense Customer Service Centers’ staff members.
Colonel Abdullah Rashid Al Zaabi, Head of Strategy and Performance Development Department at Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Directorate, highlighted the workshop’s objectives aimed at acquainting staff members at the customer service centers with the strategic directives and priority initiatives in the civil defense sector. He stressed the importance of qualifying and refining communication skills of staff members who deal directly with the public, in order to achieve excellence in customer service, and to identify service assessment methods as a prelude to ensure sustainable excellence.
Colonel Al Zaabi called on civil defense staff members to double the efforts and to endeavor to share the acquired knowledge and expertise with their colleagues. He also urged them to constantly seek self-development.
The workshop also discussed evaluation criteria for customer service centers, according to the international Star Rating System for services. Participants also reviewed the vision of the Emirates Distinguished Government Services Program 2021, as well as the possibilities for the development of mechanisms used in these centers.
