Eighty various police department members were honored recently for their role in work teams or as coordinators for the Ministry of Interior’s (MoI) Ramadan Councils 2015. They were honored by the Law Respect Culture Bureau, as a representative of the General Directorate of Community Protection and Crime Prevention at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The event was held in the auditorium of the Research and Survey Center at the Abu Dhabi Police Departments Complex.

Colonel Mubarak Awadh Mubarak bin Muhairom Al Ameri, Director General, praised the distinguished efforts of the work teams and coordinators of the MoI Ramadan Councils. He also commended the close follow-up they exerted to ensure the success of the councils. He noted that these efforts mirrored the prestigious professional levels of the Abu Dhabi Police members.

“The police leadership is committed to encouraging its members and honoring them,” he said. “This aims to develop police work and enhance services provided to the various community segments.” He also explained that honoring the members reflects the interest of the Abu Dhabi Police in recognizing its members who carry out their duties to the fullest; as it motivates them to exert further efforts and to continue striving for improvement.

Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau, expressed his gratitude for the efforts that the honorees exerted. “These efforts highlight the active role that the police play in providing services to citizens and residents alike,” he added. He also pointed out to the sincere efforts characterized the dedication and loyalty to their work; and seamlessly ensured that the excellent success of the Ramadan Councils. Concluding, he asserted that dedicated work will always be recognized by the police leadership.
