HE Maj. Gen. Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, honors 106 outstanding employees of Abu Dhabi Police, who have completed their studies and received doctorate, master's degrees and bachelor in the finest educational institutions locally and abroad, during a ceremony organized by Specialized  Qualification Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, in the presence of Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Acting  Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police.

 

The Ceremony was attended by Maj. Gen. Omeir Al Muhairi, GD of Policing Operations and Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, General Director of General Directorate of Security Affairs  and Ports and Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Daheri  GD of Central Operations and Brigadier Obaid Salem Balhbalh Ketbi, GD of the General Directorate of Human Resources and Brigadier Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi GD of Finance and Services, and Brigadier Abdullah Al Muhairi, General Director of Guards and Special Tasks.

 

HE Maj. Gen. Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, pointed in his speech during the ceremony that the leadership provided all the necessary facilities for the Qualification of Abu Dhabi Police officers and enabled them to continue their studies and  identify required skills and expertise to continue the march of excellence within a comprehensive strategy to improve policing work, and achieve Abu Dhabi Police goal to reach a safer society.

 

HE  stated that there are about 124 students from Abu Dhabi Police who are continuing to complete their studies to obtain  a Ph.D. degree in various disciplines from a large number of local and international universities, as there are about 269 others candidates continuing their  MA degrees, and other students different fields who are doing specialized studies in various practical and specialized areas.

 

 

HE Maj. Gen. Al-Rumaithi added that Abu Dhabi Police made great strides in the field of qualifying  human resources and enabling them to continue their education up to postgraduate level, and refine scientific and practical skills for the benefit and interest of the quality of output and performance in various police work stations. All this comes as part of a comprehensive strategy for developing human resources by providing to its graduates better educational opportunities for its members in various global academic institutions.

 

HE Maj. Gen. Al Rumaithi expressed his sincere appreciation for the fruitful cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Police and the local and international academic institutions, pointing out that this ceremony comes along with the honoring of the "Teacher's Day" which reflects the attention paid by Abu Dhabi Police GHQ for science and knowledge. The latter has helped to provide many academic programs to be compatible with the strategic objectives of the Abu Dhabi police GHQ, and worth to be honored with this occasion.
