Firemen praised for their valiant efforts
Colonel Othman Al Tamemi, director of emergency and public safety at the Abu Dhabi police General headquarters appreciated the efforts of the firemen involved in extinguishing the major fire that occurred in Al Quoz Dubai.
Colonel Thamemi said that the firemen showed extra ordinary courage and put in high performance along side the Dubai civil defence personnel’s in controlling the major ware house fire that occurred last week. 156 firemen and 21 fire engines were pressed in to action which helped in succeeding to save 19 warehouses and controlling the huge fire from escalating to other warehouses.
