Defence Personnel visits Police department

Fourteen Officers from the Defence department visited the department of Dog squad of the General directorate of Abu Dhabi Police to get on the spot experience about the various responsibilities and capabilities of the department.

The Officers were briefed about the kinds of dogs in service ,the breeds, their nature of utilities, the way they are trained ,the reared and the nature of food given to them.

The officers on visit also were given a demonstration about various skills of the different dogs in sniff for explosives and their utility in criminal investigations.

Such visits aim to enhance interorganisational relationship and provide valuable experience which can be of great help in improving the safety and security responsibilities and capabilities of both the organizations ,said the officers while concluding their visits.
