The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector recently organized a one-day blood drive in cooperation with the Medical Services Department at Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank (ADBB) at the Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD). The drive witnessed significant turnout from officers, non-commissioned officers, constables and civilians working in the sector.

The drive embodies the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sectors’ strategy and its role in serving the local community and supporting humanitarian activities organized by various organizations. Moreover, the drive highlights the sector’s keenness to promote public participation, demonstrate its positive roles, and promote health education among its staff members and community by highlighting the many benefits of blood donation.

First Lieutenant Mo’sam Bilal Al Mo’sam, Chief of the Media and Public Relations Section at the Sector, emphasized the importance of these humanitarian initiatives and the role they play in instilling human values and promoting the concept of social solidarity. “The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector organizes blood drives throughout the year, in collaboration with the Blood Bank, which in turn seeks to support this humanitarian work throughout the year,” he said.
