ADP receives the Emirates membership in CTIF

 

Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (ADP GHQ) has received the certificate of the Emirate membership in International Association of Fire and Rescue (CTIF) as part of ADP Department of Emergency and Public Safety delegation participation in CTIF International Exhibition which concluded its activities on Saturday in Germany.

Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of Emergency and Public Safety at ADP and Head of the delegation said "handing of membership has been made during the general assembly meeting to review the organization work progress report which was held on the side lines of the exhibition. The membership would play a leading role in enhancement of communication and joint work with world organizations and bodies for work development and acquiring scientific and operational international expertise".

Colonel Al Nuaimi has affirmed ADP GHQ keenness to be present in different international events whether they are exhibitions or conferences with a view to review the latest systems and developments in policing fields, especially security and safety areas.

"The delegation consists of six officers from the Department of Emergency and Public Safety. They want to acquaint themselves with modern technologies and equipment, and advanced emergency vehicles to enable delivery of best emergency services and to achieve customers and employees satisfaction", added Al Nuaimi.

The exhibition is considered one of the most important fire and rescue exhibitions at international level. It is organized every 5 years. More than 1,000 companies and agencies participated in it.

The exhibition consists of 5 halls where world countries showcase the latest technologies in fire, rescue and ambulance, in addition to modern technologies in the make of emergency vehicles, equipment and systems of public safety, alarm and extinguishers at establishments.

Several colleges and training centers of fire and rescue services participated in the exhibition, in addition to other accompanying activities, such as workshops under supervision of experts. This year round witnessed a distinguished show of fire vehicles and fire ladders. The tallest fire ladder showcased during the exhibition was 112 meter high, which is the emergency phone in Europe.

The strategy of the Department of Emergency and Public Safety focuses on delivering distinguished field services to the public` relating to their lives and properties. Maintenance of safety and security is one of ADP GHQ top priorities, and its strategy which aims at providing best humanitarian services at local and global levels.
