The Social Support Centers Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters introduced employees in a number of governmental authorities to the services it provides to different segments of the society in its centers at Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. These services are provided under the “Get to know us” initiative launched recently by the Department.

In cooperation with Abu Dhabi Municipality, the Department organized a lecture for the municipality employees in its Bateen and Zafarana branches. The lecture was delivered by Lieutenant Issa Al Shamesi who provided an introductory about the Social Support Department and its services. He noted that the department’s services include providing curative services for a number of cases including: domestic violence cases, child abuse, family issues, problems between neighbors, school violence, divorce disputes, protection services and victim support, prevention services such as educational programs, and providing parental care (Children Visitation).

Lieutenant Fahed Al Nuaimi delivered a lecture at Mussafah Municipality tackling the services provided by the Social Support Centers Department, means to handle situations through amicable means in cases of social problems. He said that this will help solving issues with privacy and in a professional manner, and providing individual counseling and professional handling of such cases.
