The Abu Dhabi Police has honored a number of its female personnel in recognition of their role in contributing to the promotion and development of police performance, which enhances the efforts towards maintaining the security and safety for all members of the community.
Major General Omair Muhammad Al Muhairi, Director General of Police Operations, expressed his appreciation for the contributions of the female staff members and for their efforts that supported the achievements of the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters’ (GHQ) objectives. “This accolade serves as further inspiration for these women to redouble their efforts both at work and with their families,” he said.
Al Muhairi additionally pointed out that policewomen are employed in all areas and are able to conduct difficult tasks just as their male counterparts area able. “With proven efficiency and excellence in discharging the various tasks and duties entrusted to them by the Abu Dhabi Police, our policewomen are a strong force to be reckoned with and serve their homeland through outstanding performance,” he said. He continued by pointing out that the female staff members at the GHQ have effectively contributed to the various security roles that have been assigned to them.

The Social Support Centers Department at Abu Dhabi Police has distributed certificates of appreciation to its female staff members in its three centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. The certificates were given in recognition of their efforts, dedication to their work and permanent participation that aim to achieve the vision and strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
