The Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 31 staff members after completing two specialized courses, namely the “Human Rights & Investigation and Interrogation principles” and the “Frauds and Swindling Investigations”. The courses were organized by the Training Department, as a part the international cooperation approach, in coordination with the French Embassy in the UAE.

Both courses aimed at providing graduates with technical skills and competencies that would serve police work and empowerment in the field of investigation and interrogation that respect human rights; in addition to investigation methods and tool to handle fraud and swindling cases.

The courses were carried out as per the strategic plan of Abu Dhabi Police, aimed at enhancing police staff members’ skills and increasing their knowledge in the training fields. They also reflect the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to keep abreast of latest technologies in the fight against crime, and to enhance safety and security of society.

The graduation ceremony took place at the Hilton Hotel Abu Dhabi, and was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Saleh Saeed Al Amoudi, International Cooperation Branch Manager at the Training Department, and a number of Abu Dhabi Police officers. Also present was Colonel Jean Galzi, Security Attaché at the French Embassy in the UAE, and a number of French trainers.

The course witnessed the participation of a number of police officers from the Capital Police Directorate, the Al Ain Police Directorate, the Western Region, External Regions, the Traffic and Patrols; the Criminal Investigation, and the Security Information Directorates.
