MoU between “Al Faraj Fund” and “Emirates Today” to support insolvent inmates
 


Al Faraj Fund affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, and Emirates Today Newspaper, affiliated with Dubai Media signed today morning a Memorandum of Understanding to deliver support to the insolvent inmates to ensure their release.

Major General Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Chairman of Board of Directors of Al Faraj Fund and Sami Al Riyami editor - in chief of Emirates Today newspaper singed the MoU which states for cooperation and coordination between the two sides to organize an aid campaign for the inmates of correctional and punitive institutions and their families across the UAE, to settle their financial cases and pay out their debts, Diyyah “ blood money” and tickets fares.

According to the MoU, Emirates Today Newspaper shall publish a press article to receive aid from benevolent people, and use the revenues to assist the inmates of correctional and punitive institutions and their families through Al Faraj Fund.

Al Nuaimi welcomed the partnership and said, “Police spare no effort to help benevolent people reach the needy in equitable way, and in such a way that achieves social and ethical message towards insolvent, to give them new chance of starting honorable life.
 
 “Joint work, mutual trust and transparency which Security Media is adopting have been major factors to extend cooperation with various media outlets, said Lt. Colonel Saeed Al Khajah, deputy director of Security Media.
