Community Policing Department seeks to educate taxi users
The ADP Community Policing Department has discussed with the Taxi Transport Organization Center in the Capital methods of cooperation in educating taxi users on security and social issues.
A delegation from the Community Policing Department has met with Masoud Mohammad Hashim, General Director of Taxi Transport Organization Center in the Capital to introduce the Department and its goals, objectives and aims of its presence in neighborhoods to reassure the public.
Lt. Colonel Mubarak bin Meheiroom, Director of the Community Policing Department said "This awareness approach is considered the latest method of educating the public on security matters. Most foreign communities in the country use public transport means and taxis inside and outside Abu Dhabi City".
"This move has received an enthusiastic welcome by the Center officials who considers it as a modern method of security awareness to introduce the Department to the public", added bi Meheiroom.
Then he thanked the General Director of the Center for his kind interest and response. The delegation of the Community Policing Department comprised: Major Ali Saif Al Mansouri, Head of Community Policing Affairs Unit, Major Jasim Al Harmoodi, Head of Social Relations and Guidance and 1st Lt. Mohammad Ahmed Al Minhali, Director of Community Relations Branch.
