Community Police celebrates Eid with Al Mafraq Hospital children
A delegation from ADP Department of Community Policing paid a visit to the Children’s Section at Al Mafraq Hospital, on Friday evening. The delegation extended ADP GHQ greetings to sick children on Eid Al Fitr.
The visit included the sick children and their families and the UAE flags and gifts were distributed to children.
Captain Al Hajj Mabkhoot Al Minhali, Head of ADP Community Policing Section said “Communication with different community segments is one of the main tasks on which ADP is very keen to deliver awareness advice and guidance. Through this communication people can acquaint themselves with the community police, in addition to giving a brief respite from their sufferings and making the children and their families very happy”.
Different shows were presented among the children and their families interaction. The shows included the daily programmes and projects of the Community Police and its role in the community.
The well known media man Jasim Obeid, through the comic character (Dabdoob) presented gifts to the children, miscellaneous shows and quizzes about the UAE, in addition to Community Police role towards the community and how to communicate with it in different circumstances.
Parents expressed their happiness with the Community Police participation in Eid festivities and lauded ADP GHQ efforts in communication with different community segments on all occasions.
