Bani Yass, the Capital and Emergency win their first matches
Bani Yass Police Station Team beat Abu Dhabi Nationalization Council Team by two goals to one in the opening match of the 2nd Ramadan Football Tournament organized by the Peripheral Areas Police Directorate.
The Capital Police Directorate beat Security Information Department Team in the second match by five to two. Emergency and Public Safety Team beat Al Rahba Police Station Team by four to two.
The tournament was opened under the patronage of Colonel Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director of Peripheral Areas Police Directorate. The ceremony was attended by Colonel Rashid Mubarak Al Mismari, Deputy Director for Police Stations, Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan and large number of football fans.
Captain Adil Ali Chairman of Media Committee hoped in his speech that the tournament would present a good standard of performance and fair play.
