Abu Dhabi Traffic discusses the outcome of traffic campaigns
The Department of Traffic and patrols at ADP held a meeting chaired by Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Director of the Department, on Tuesday morning. The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Department. They discussed the outcome, positive and negative aspects of the traffic campaigns implemented during the past period of this year.
The present reviewed what had been achieved so far regarding ADP traffic safety strategy. They also evaluated the tasks achieved by different sections and branches of the Department, in addition to activation of traffic control strategy. The review process focused on violations that led to traffic accidents and hot spots, death indicators, severe injuries on internal and external roads. Moreover, they discussed awareness campaigns, spread of traffic culture, issues concerning promotion of performance and enhancement of communication with partners, for public interest.
