A delegation of the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai, headed by Dr. Omar Al Shamsi, Executive Director of Human Rights Sector, reviewed the best practices, tasks and duties, adopted by the Organizational Excellence Department at the Ministry of Interior. The delegation also reviewed the department’s methods in spreading the culture of excellence and the preparations that preceded the Ministry’s candidacy to the Emirates Government Excellence Award.

Major Abdul Rahman Al Mansouri, Director of Organizational Excellence Department at the Ministry of Interior welcomed the delegation, alongside a number of officers from the Department.

The meeting addressed ways of cooperation and communication in the field of excellence, as well as the exchange of expertise and visits between the two sides. 

Major Al Mansouri briefed the delegation on the Minister of Interior Excellence Award and methods of application, as well as the Ministry’s experience in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program.

At the end of the meeting, the Dubai Community Development Authority’s delegation commended the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior in spreading the culture of excellence among its personnel across the country, and its diligent attention to promote their capabilities and support their creative potentials and talents.

The delegation also applauded the Ministry of Interior for earning 10 awards at the 2nd session of the Emirates Government Excellence Awards 2012. At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged commemorative gifts.
