The United Arab Emirates will host the 30th preparatory meeting of the Interior Undersecretaries of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC which will be held 18-19 October at Yass Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting is held in preparation of the 30th meeting of interior ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which will be held in Abu Dhabi.
The recommendations of the security committees will be discussed during meeting, as part of the security cooperation and coordination among the GCC state members to take appropriate decisions on all the topics which will be submitted before the next GCC interior ministers meeting.
Lt Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Sh’afar, Undersecretary of the Minister of Interior emphasized that the meeting is a continuation of the huge efforts made by the GCC countries to strengthen cooperation and coordination among them in various security related issues.
He said the preparatory meeting is an important occasion to review joint security work plans among the member states, specialty in light of rapid developments and changes being witnessed by our region and the world around us.
