Sixteen staff members from the Punitive & Correctional Institutions Department at Abu Dhabi Police have graduated after completing a specialized course on ‘Security Issues Monitoring”. As part of the course, participants were introduced to modern technologies in information analysis, as well as data collection and the various procedures of identifying and monitoring security issues.
Topics included the application of data collection, methods and tools of analysis, expectations observation, and the prediction of future events.
Captain Abdul Jalil Ahmad, Director of the Training Institute at the Punitive & Correctional Institutions, said that the course focused on highlighting the technique’s implementation methodology, information classification data collected from measurement standards, hypothesis development, and monitoring expectations. The course also focused on the standards of crime measurement using security indicators to assess the criminal situation, prevention efforts, criminal pursuit and observation, as well as preparing preventive and precautionary plans.
He encouraged the graduates to implement the skills that they acquired during the course to their work, to keep pace with modern standards, and developments and diversity of events in the age of technology and social networks that have transformed our world and brought down all boundaries.
First Lieutenant Ali Al Hamadi, the Director Office Secretariat, attended the graduation ceremony along with a number of officers and staff members.
