Precaution urged against theft
Lt. Col. Mohammed Ghadeer Al Katbi, Director General of the Capital Police directorate has cautioned all those intending to travel abroad for summer vacations to take adequate precautions against theft and burglaries.
Most of the theft and burglaries that take place during the holiday season are preliminarily because of negligence or security lapses on the part of land loads or tenants themselves, he said.
How ever police patrols and cops on the beat will remain as alert as always and strict vigilance will be maintained round the clock, he added.
