The 24th batch of 250 male university students and the 8th batch of 50 female university students have joined the 2013/2014 academic year at the Police College. H.E. Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutobi, Police College Director, in addition to department heads, section chiefs, and a number of officers and supervisors welcomed the new students.
These two new batches reflect the Ministry of Interior’s vision to attract new and distinguished groups of different university students to empower the security and stability process across the country.
Al Kutobi said that this new group of students is part of the training plan approved by the Police College. “All employees at the college, from scientific, training, and administrative departments, are keen to make their best efforts to qualify these human resources according to the Ministry of Interior’s strategy and the police commandment’s forward-looking objectives. We will graduate and qualify officers who are able to serve their society,” he said.
The Police College Director also reviewed the mid-semester exams of the 5th semester of the 25th batch of students, and the mid-semester exams of the 3rd semester of the 26th batch of students at the college, according to the curriculum and the training program for 2012-2013.
While reviewing the exams process, which started on Sunday, he instructed employees to provide the proper atmosphere and facilitate the process for all students. At the end of his tour, Al Kutobi urged all students to make more efforts in their journey towards excellence, wishing them good luck and success.
