The delegation was received by the General Director of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, to familiarize them with the safe city system. Major General Sharifi stressed the continued efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police to upgrade the development services and the use of artificial intelligence systems to enhance their capabilities as one of the leading police systems in the use of advanced systems and practices to meet the challenges of various forms present and future.
He pointed out that the safe city is one of the projects that comes within the framework of the strategic plan of the Abu Dhabi Police for the development and modernization using artificial intelligence in the areas of security and crime forecasting, raising traffic safety levels and improving the operational capacity of road networks through monitoring and distribution of patrols, monitoring of finished cars, Through programs that constantly analyze traffic data to the highest levels of efficiency and effectiveness in decision-making and enhance collaboration with strategic partners.
The delegation learned about the techniques that have been provided to the safe city to serve as an early sensor center through its association with the national early warning system and by sending warning warnings to the public before and after using the two sensors and the transmission system, sending warning messages with fog, serious accidents, road closures, Changing screens on towers and messages via mobile phones.
