Abu Dhabi Police has called on the public and especially the families to collaborate with the ambulance crews in dealing with the injured and the sick, giving them sufficient time to inspect the situation and determine the seriousness of it, and provide medical care to reduce any complications.
Colonel Mohammed Ibrahim Al Ameri, director of the Emergency and Public Safety Directorate of the Central Operations sector, advised the injured or the patient to be irritable and tense, as a passive behavior that slows down the provision of paramedics the necessary aid to the situation, which requires immediate intervention and rapid response, and said, that the work The ambulance relies on accurate assessment of the situation and its estimation if it is a serious or simple injury, using modern methods by following the correct steps according to the criteria adopted to obtain the best results in the rescue of the injured or the patient.
He confirmed the efficiency of the ambulance crews that operate according to international standards, using the best techniques that help reduce the complications of injuries, and that they are highly capable in positive handling of cases and calm them in order to maintain the condition of the patient and avoid any complications.
He noted the implementation of awareness programs on how the public behaves when the ambulance arrives, providing medical care to the injured or the patient, and avoiding behaviors that may hinder the work of the paramedics by the parents.
He urged no excessive anxiety, undue emotion, calm, and cooperation with the ambulance crews in order to keep everyone safe.
