Abu Dhabi Police has provided awareness of the dangers of drugs in family, correctional and educational institutions, within the campaign "my life is more expensive", and focused on publicizing the objectives of the campaign and efforts to prevent the dangers of this scourge.
The awareness lectures carried out by the Directorate of Drug Control in the criminal security sector were held at Al Wathbah Family Development foundation, The Department of Juvenile Welfare in mafraq, schools: Al-ghazali in Abu dhabi, Al-manara in Bani yas, and the shining leadership of the Indian community in the city of Mohammed bin Zayed.
Colonel Taher Gharib Al dhaheri, director of the directorate, stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi police to spread awareness among different segments of society, pointing out that the strategy of tackling drugs requires the cooperation of all to create a deterrent environment for crime through various preventive and rehabilitative methods.
The outreach included "mothers, inmates and students" to the means to protect against this scourge, educate them about their harms, and tighten control over their promotion and abuse, and the "badir " bus has been involved in raising the awareness required for juvenile Inmates.
He participated in the presentation of Lectures: Lieutenant Colonel Moza al-yakoubi, head of the outreach department, Major Ghalib Al kaabi, director of Awareness programs implementation branch, and first assistant Mohammed saleh, from the Department of Awareness and follow-up in  "the Directorate ".
