Abu Dhabi Police warned families of the danger of leaving children unattended in swimming pools, stressing the need to accompany them and intensify their surveillance to avoid drowning.
It warns that the Neglect is a major cause of drowning incidents of children, which requires not to worry about them. where drownings of children occur due to their use of swimming pools on their own, neglect of beds to monitor them, depth of water, lack of knowledge of swimming, slippage from the floor surrounding the swimming pool and the absence of a fence around the docks.
Leaving children under 3 years of age alone in swimming pools of houses or buildings and various facilities exposes them to drowning incidents, stressing the importance of taking this into account for their safety.
In addition children need to wear swimming equipment and to provide children with life jackets, tools and life jackets while swimming.
Drowning of children in swimming pools is one of the most common causes of psychological problems for parents and those around them, warning of indifference and ignoring safety instructions in this regard and providing the swimming pools with fixed stairs and metal handles distributed around them.
