Abu Dhabi Police has called on parents to be careful when signing up or buying online games, not disclosing credit card details for confidentiality, purchasing through trusted sites that apply secure controls, and using a bank card with limited balance so that they are not vulnerable to fraud and piracy, resulting in monthly discounts from the bank card.

ADP urged the community to be vigilant in dealing with the websites of those online games, which are accepted by children and adolescents, and may drain more money to complete the stages of those games, putting pressure on parents, as well as the risk of access to bank card information.

ADP stressed the need not to deal with fake and unreliable electronic stores that may lure customers into scams by stealing their money through their bank cards or bank accounts.
