Smart Patrol
The central operations sector participates in the project "Smart Patrol", which is several intelligent systems, including facial recognition system, and the system of identifying required and expired vehicles. It also has an automatic control system (radar speed), to adjust speed ers, in addition to having a special camera to control violators not to fasten the seat belt and busy non-road.
Stand Arm
A project to control the crossings of the stop arm was also introduced, which aims to "control the crossings of the arm of the stop in school buses", to keep students safe, make roads safer and reach the goal of reducing the rate of traffic accidents on the roads. Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with the Department of Municipalities and Transport (Strategic Partner), developed the idea of a smart control system to control the crossings of the arm stop in school buses using the latest technology and is able to adjust the offending vehicles by not standing when opening an arm stop in the school buses at the time of the boarding and descent of students.
The system works on smart cameras based on the technology of artificial intelligence to identify the offending vehicle when approaching the bus less than 5 meters and not stop to ensure the boarding or descent of students from the bus as well as in case the student cut off the street to the student's residence.
Safe City
Abu Dhabi Police also displays a number of technical systems used in the Safe City Center, which are working with artificial intelligence and contribute to enhancing traffic and safety management in The Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
