The Department of Social Support Centers in the Community Security Sector in Abu Dhabi Police dealt with 2,936 cases during the first half of this year, of which 2,043 were resolved amicably, while the number of consultations reached 893 different consultations, in addition to benefiting 6,925 people from 158 lectures and effectiveness organized by the center management with strategic partners.
Brig. Gen. Saeed Hamad Saleh al-Kaabi, Director of the Department of Social Support Centers, stressed Abu Dhabi Police's interest in enhancing security and social stability, helping victims of violence and bullying, responding quickly to communications and resolving social issues that do not require legal intervention in friendly ways.
He explained that the centers with their trained cadres are ready to provide psychological and social consultations and receive all cases and provide advice, guidance and positive communication to raise awareness among the members of the community under the circumstances of the crisis of Corona Coved19.
He pointed out that social consultations through electronic channels are provided free of charge through social and psychological specialists in accordance with the regulations and laws, explaining the requirement to register at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters website with an ID card and then get the service.
