​Abu Dhabi Police has launched 3 institutional accelerators, a unique model in accelerating results, stimulating innovation, adopting forward-looking approaches, activating integration and cooperation between the police sectors and strategic partners, including: critical challenge accelerator, key accelerators of sectors and operational accelerators for the financial and service sector.

Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, explained that the government accelerator initiative emphasizes the importance of integration between federal and local government agencies, the private sector, academia and non-governmental organizations, with the aim of driving innovation and achieving the uae government's ambitious plans. 

Brig. Gen. Khalid Abdullah Khoury, Director of the Center for Strategy and Institutional Development, stressed Abu Dhabi Police's interest in establishing an integrated approach to development focused on strengthening the active partnership between federal and local government agencies, private sector institutions and all stakeholders to create tools and solutions to the challenges of sectors most closely related to the lives of individuals and society.

Lt. Col. Dr. Ali Ghanem Al-Taweel, Head of The Institutional Accelerators Team at Abu Dhabi Police, said that a virtual workshop was held as part of the launch of the enterprise accelerators for an integrated scenario on the 100-day institutional accelerator challenge, which focused on challenging response time in selecting innovative solutions to find the innovative accelerator for this challenge.

The government accelerator model created by the UAE government is a future mechanism of action designed to achieve tangible and sustainable results in a short period of time and is one of the pillars of the strategic partnership in government modernization.
