His Excellency General Fares Khalaf al-Mazroui, Commander General of Abu Dhabi Police, confirmed that the seed of good and giving instilled by Zayed al-Khair has grown and grown to become an extended green area after the UAE became the leading international donor in the field of official development assistance.
He added in a speech on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day: "We celebrate zayed day every year under the slogan of "Love and loyalty to Zayed the Giving", in memory of the passing of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founder of the UAE, where he wrote in letters from the light of great initiatives to serve all humanity, strengthening the UAE's position as a global model for humanitarian and development work.
He stated that Zayed al-Khair and Giving was known throughout his life with a love of good and concern for humanitarian and charitable work and provided many examples of giving, recorded many outstanding contributions in the field of humanitarian work and worked to promote the values of love, tolerance and giving in the uae society.
He pointed out that this occasion reflects the interest of the uae people to consolidate the thought of the founder of the uae to continue the journey of giving and loving the UAE society through the many humanitarian initiatives provided by the UAE to brothers and friends affected from different countries of the world.
He stressed the pride of the founding leader with the white hands that brought good and humanitarian work for man and wherever he was, where the humanitarian initiatives launched by the late, God willing, Zayed al-Khair crossed borders and crossed states.
