Worker arrested over death of room-mate
Abu Dhabi Police arrested an Asian worker for allegedly killing his room-mate.
The accused alleged that the victim had earlier attempted to sodomise him at their accommodation in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
According to Colonel Maktoum Al Shareefi, Director of Criminal Investigation Department CID) at Abu Dhabi Police upon receiving the call, a team of detectives rushed to the scene of the crime where they arrested the suspect. The suspect broke down and confessed to his crime. The suspect cleaned the kitchen knife, with which he slit the throat of the victim, and threw it away.
