UAE is an oasis of security and stability: Al Shaafar

 

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, MoI Undersecretary said that the UAE will remain an oasis of security and stability for all those living here due to the generous care by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE "God bless him", his brother HH Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai "God protect him" , their brothers Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, support and follow up of HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Police and Security Agencies in the country.

Lt. General Al Shaafar made this statement during graduation ceremony of 75th Batch of Men New Recruits and the 29th Batch of women New Recruits at Al Foua Police Schools in Al Ain.

He said "The security and stability that our country enjoys is the basic pillar of development and progress and the fence that protects all aims and achievements".

"MoI and in response to the Directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior is keen to provide all needs of police and security agency and advanced equipment to carry out their tasks and duties as required", added Al Shaafar.

MoI seeks through clear plans and programme to promote the abilities of its employees in line with local, regional and international social and security changes.

Our police force maintains its distinguished leading role in community service. Academies, colleges, institutes and police schools provide MoI and police agencies with well trained and qualified young national cadres. It spares no effort to prepare and qualify them to enable them to play their role in spreading security and stability. He has congratulated the graduates, men and women, and wished them every success in their future.

The ceremony started with the entry of graduates lines to the parade square. Then the leader of the parade sought Lt. General Al Shaafar permission to start graduation ceremony.

Colonel Waleed Salim Al Shamsi, Director of ADP GHQ Police Schools said in his speech "The Schools Department will continue its efforts in line with ADP GHQ strategy and interest shown by the rational Higher Leadership towards police force and its role in providing security, reassurance and stability of the community. The number of graduates is (481) men and (114) women. They have spent 22 weeks in training. They have received theoretical and practical training during this period".

At the end of the ceremony Lt. General Al Shaafar and Colonel Al Shamsi honored the brilliant graduate of both batches. Then the graduates took oath of allegiance and cheered the President of UAE. The graduates presented a live show of a training programme focusing on quick response where they proved their efficiency and ability to control situations. The Police Music band entertained the audience with lovely pieces of music. 

The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Naqbi, general Supervisor of Military Training at MoI, Brigadier Jasim Mohammad Al Marzouqi, Deputy Director of ADP Human Resources Directorate, Colonel Saif Ali Al Kitbi, Director General of Police College, a number of Senior Officers and graduates parents.
