Traffic exhibition attracts the public at Al Bawadi Mall in Al Ain
According to Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Bloushi, chief of Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Police, the traffic exhibition organized by the section at Al Bawadi Mall is attracting huge number of the public and students.
The exhibition includes a solar energy electronic board which traffic policeman uses to warn drivers if an accident occur or in emergency situations. This board is expected to be introduced shortly.
Al Bloushi praised the participation of a group of the UAE University students who contributed to the success of the exhibition by spreading awareness among the visitors.
Besides a new patrol Mercedes vehicle and children car seat, a traffic kid car has also been showcased to attract kids and break barrier of fear with police and to increase confidence in them, according to First Lit. Hamdan Hassan Dhiban, deputy head of public relations branch at Al Ain Police Traffic and Patrols.
In the evening the member of the public attended a contest held at the Al Bawadi Mall theatre. The questions have focused on the implications of this year’s slogan, “together to reduce traffic accidents”. Valuable gifts have been given.
