Offenders will be booked, bicycles will be seized and awareness lectures will be organized to educate them on the correct use of bicycles. The campaign is part of the strategic plan adopted by the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols at ADP to reduce the number of cyclists who are being hit and injured by other vehicles.
Most youths and children enjoy cycling. Some people use bicycles as means of transport and for sports activities. They should comply with traffic rules and regulations.
He has criticized those who ride their bicycles between vehicles and riding against the traffic.

He also calls for adherence to other safety conditions such front and rear lights, reflectors and wearing reflective dress to warn vehicle drivers.
People who ride bicycles for sport should do so at designated places, such as Abu Dhabi Corniche.
In accordance with the law only those aged 15 and over may ride on public roads. In case of violation the bicycle will be confiscated. Front lights should be fixed on bicycles at night.
