Three people die and three injured in fire accident in Al Ain
On Friday morning Al Ain City was shocked when an Omani father and his two sons died from suffocation in a fire accident in Um Ghafa Area. His UAE wife, other three children and their maid sustained medium injuries. According to first reports the fire was due to electrical short circuit in their villa.
Their neighbor and family driver who came to rescue sustained severe injuries as the wife of the deceased and her children were in a state of nervous collapse. The victims are under medical care at Tawam and Al Ain Public Hospitals.
According to Lt. Colonel Abdullah Mohammad Al Shamsi, Director of the City Police Station the Operation Room at Al Ain Police Directorate received the report at 04:47 early morning on Friday. Civil Defence, Ambulance and Rescue, Traffic Patrols, Crime Scene, Forensic personnel's and Interrogation teams reached the scene of the accident and investigations are still underway.
