Under the patronage of Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the sixth Abu Dhabi International Conference on Special Needs (ACCESS 2013) will kick off on April 16th.
The annual Conference, which will be held at the Armed Forces Officers’ Club in Abu Dhabi, is organized by the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, on April 16-18, under the slogan "Towards community-based partnerships, to achieve integration”.
His Excellency Mohammed Mohammed Fadel Al Hameli, Vice Chairman of the Board, Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care said: “Organizing this year’s Conference stems from the widespread success achieved by the past five years “ACCESS Abu Dhabi” Conferences for people with special needs. For this end, the Organization seeks to organize this biennial international conference by inviting the best specialized international experts to participate and share the most important research outcomes in the fields of care and rehabilitation”.
Al Hameli expressed his deepest thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, lauding their continuous care and attention to these categories. He also extended his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, for his kind support to the Organization’s programs, projects, and initiatives, as well as its strategic plan, stemming from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s overall plan, which stipulates developing and modernizing all services provided to these segments of society. Moreover, Al Hameli praised the efforts exerted by H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to launch initiatives and adopt projects for the service of this particular group.
The Vice Chairman of the Board, Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care, Mohammed Mohammed Fadel Al Hameli held a press conference on Tuesday at the Armed Forces Officers’ Club to announce the Conference. In his speech on the occasion, he also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; praising his keenness to sponsor and launch the biennial “ACCESS Abu Dhabi” conference for the second consecutive year. Moreover, he highlighted His Highness’s distinguished efforts to support people with special needs in particular and the many initiatives he launches for their service; noting that H.H is a fervent and permanent supporter of the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs and its initiatives.
Moreover, His Excellency Mohammed Mohammed Fadel Al Hameli, Vice Chairman of the Board, Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care commended the leading role of both the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to provide care for people with special needs, through the ministry’s rehabilitation centers. He also lauded the kind support and services provided by H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for people with special needs, which best represents a model of noble humanitarian work, as part of the Organization’s strategy, which stems from Abu Dhabi’s Government strategy.
