Sheikh Sorour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Hazza and Sheikh Yass, sons of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, visited the Ministry of Interior’s Village and viewed the exhibits showcased at different police pavilions.
Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs and Major General Sheikh Talib bin Saqer Al Qassimi, Commander-General of Ras Al Khaimah Police also paid a visit to the village and viewed the exhibits and services the ministry of interior’s different agencies deliver to the public.

Upon their arrival at the village, they were received by Colonel Hussein Al Awadhi, head of the organizing committee and also general supervisor of the village.
Also US Ambassador to UAE, Michael H. Corbin and his family on Monday paid a visit to the village. He was accompanied during the visit by Colonel Hussein Al Awadhi. They toured the different pavilions and viewed the exhibits and the services of the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
The Ambassador expressed his admiration for the exhibits.
The village provides an atmosphere of affection and interaction between the police officers and the members of the public, said Bella Fills, GCC Cultural & Economic Counselor at the Hungarian Embassy to the country during his visit to the Village in the company of his family.
For the fifth day, the Village continued its activities in a cheerful atmosphere with the police band performing dazzling music. The village witnessed a huge crowd of visitors both Emiratis and expatriates, of all ages. They have enjoyed the live shows, including the Youla dance performed by a number of kids, police dogs and car shows.
The exciting families also interacted with the police ‘teddy bear’, and with the contests presented by Warrant officer, Halima Al Khuzaimi at the open theatre. She presented gifts to them.
The General Directorate of Guards and Special Tasks took part with four tens: F7, special tasks, government and development establishment’s protection, and the fourth tent for the Himaya security services company.
