Saif bin Zayed while inspecting workflow in Sharjah Police:
Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has confirmed that the speed of development and construction pace led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates is the source of encouragement for everyone to work hard and respond to any potential challenges.
He said this during his inspection of the workflow of the General Headquarters of Sharjah Police and General Directorate of Civil Defence where he was briefed on the new organizational structure as well as the development plans for civil defense and the extent of its readiness.
Sheikh Saif said, "We believe in the inevitability of continuing work to provide the best means of security and safety for all and focus on the time factor, whether in securing the best services to the public or to respond to the needs of emergency".
He also emphasized the keenness and interest of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and follow-up of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah H.H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi and the Rulers of the Emirates to all efforts that contribute to the promotion of security and stability.
Sheikh Saif was accompanied by Major General Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Major General Humaid Mohammed Al Hadidi, Commander General of Sharjah Police, Major General Rashed Salim Al Matroushi, Acting Commander General of Civil Defence, Brigadier Abdullah Al Dukhan, Deputy Commander General of Sharjah Police, Brigadier Dr. Abdullah bin Saho, Director General of Residency and Expatriates Affairs in Sharjah, and a number of officers.
Commander General of Sharjah Police extended thanks and appreciation to H.H Sheikh Saif for his continuous support to all police sectors at the Ministry of Interior as well as other sectors and society institutions.
Sheikh Saif watched a documentary featuring the achievements of Sharjah Police, and viewed a detailed presentation about the Sharjah Police strategic plan and indicators.
Colonel Al Sarkal, Director General of Civil Defence in Sharjah has also made a presentation about the organizational structure of civil defence, the strategic plans and performance indicators during this year compared to the previous years which showed drop in the number of accidents.
