Saif bin Zayed inspects 10 new vehicles
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior has reviewed at ADP GHQ two sets of 10 operations and support vehicles that are going to be used by the Crime Scene Department (CSD). The vehicles are the first of their kind in the Region.
HH has affirmed the Higher Leadership keenness to promote all equipments and apparatuses which contribute to enhancement of safety, security, and achievement of justice, which HH has appreciated.
During the tour HH ahs been accompanied by Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at ADP, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhahri, Director General of ADP Headquarters Affairs, Colonel (Dr.) Saif Bu Dhafeera Al Amri, Director general of Security and Ports Affairs and a number of Ado officers.
Major Salim Khalifa Al Darie, Director of Crime Scene Department has briefed HH on the two sets of vehicles. The Support vehicles are used to support crime scene teams. They are provided with al necessary tools and equipment required for field operations, such as tents, flash lights and generators. They can be used as Command Post in minor incidents. They will be deployed in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region.
The other set of vehicles include key operations rooms. They can be used as mobile command and control during severe accidents. It can be used as a conference room for the silver commander. They are provided with generator, flash lights, small conference room, displays, and crime scene program compatible computers and communications equipments. They assist in carrying out tasks in remote areas.
