Al Darmaki and Al Rumaithi for their contribution to policing progress
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minster of Interior, received in his office, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Higher Command Committee, members of the Committee Major General Mohammad Jumaa Al Darmaki and Brigadier Mohammad Batti Al Rumaithi, on the occasion of their retirement.
HH thanked and honored the retired officers for their loyal efforts during the three decades of their service. HH confirmed the keenness of the country’s higher leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan “God protects him” to appreciate and honor the efforts and contributions to security and policing work.
HH praised the roles played by the two retired officers in the progress and modernization of the Police Organization. Major General Al Darmaki joined Abu Dhabi Police Force in 1969. He was nominated as cadet and graduated as a 2nd Lt. He continued his career in police and was promoted to Major General in 2004.
He attended several training courses inside and outside the country, including Strategic Planning Course, Crisis management Course, Change Management Course, telecommunications Course and English Language Course.
He also participated in a number of conferences, including Abu Dhabi Conference for Higher Command, International Conference for Cyber Crime and the 11th Forum of E- Governments.
He occupied several positions in ADP, including Director of Communications and, Information Systems, Director of petroleum Establishments Protection and Director General of Establishments Protection and received a number of honors and awards.
Brigadier Al Rumaithi joined Abu Dhabi Police Force in 1975 and graduated as a 2nd Lt. in 2004, he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Sciences from Emirates University.
He attended several training courses inside and outside the country, including Strategic Planning Course, Crisis management Course, Change Management Course, Quality Systems for Higher management Course and Effective Administrative Command Course.
He occupied several positions in ADP including, head of Security Affairs Section, head of Logistics and Buildings Maintenance Section, Director of Tarif Police Department, Director of Western Region Police Directorate and Director General of Security Affairs and Airports.
He participated in a number of conferences, including Abu Dhabi Conference for Higher Command, Role of Police and Armed Force in the development of National Economy, Top Leaders Symposium, towards rationalization of Training Process Symposium and Police Command and conflict Management.
