his keenness improve policing efforts
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior reviewed the efforts that are being made during his visit to the workshop concerning the strategic development project of the MoI 2010 – 2015, held at Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi. HH stressed the need for such workshops workshop in enriching policing jobs and achieving future aspirations.
HH urged the participants to be accurate in implementing the Ministry’s strategy during the coming five years, to achieve the general goals of MoI within the framework of the Federal Government Strategy and directives of the higher leadership.
The workshop which was held under the theme “Mission, Strategic Goals and Measures of Police Strategic Outcomes” was attended by HE Mohammad Abdullah Al Qarqawi, Minster of State for Cabinet Affairs, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaaffar, Mol’s Undersecretary, Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, C-in-C of Dubai Police, Major General (S) Obeid Al Hiri Al Kitbi, Deputy C-in-C of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Nasser Salim La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s Office, Major General Sheikh Talib bin Saqr Al Qasmi, Director General of RAK Police, Commanders and Directors General of Police.
HH said that" we were proud of the wining of Government Excellence Award by ADP and Dubai Police. We should maintain this achievement". Then HH inspected the participating working teams. Major General Al Shaaffar in his opening speech said that “This workshop is a continuation of the previous workshops and it is another opportunity to meet and discuss the issues that contribute to the promotion of services provided to the public”.
During the workshop Major Aziz Humood Al Amri, Director of Strategy for Ministry’s Affairs and Major Fayssal Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development at ADP GHQ presented a detailed explanation of the overall strategic development project of the MoI. The workshop included practical exercises besides various discussions.
