Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reviewed on Wednesday the latest excellence certificates and rewards awarded to the Ministry of Interior; the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior; Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters and the Sharjah Police General Headquarters; a total of six national and international certificates.

While meeting with winning police entities, His Highness Sheikh Saif called for additional achievements and excellence for the best interest of the country and its residents.

The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Mohammed Khalfan Matar Al Rumaithi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs; Major General Humaid Al Hadidi, Commander in Chief of Sharjah Police; Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources in Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police and a number of senior officers.

Major General Al Khaili, assisted by Brigadier Ali Mohammed bin Darwish, Director General of Human Resources, briefed His Highness Sheikh Saif about the international “Excellence Through People” certification (“ETP”), which was awarded to the Human Resources Directorate General at the Ministry of Interior, as the first police authority to obtain the certification internationally, by complying with the standards of excellence.

His Highness Sheikh Saif was also briefed by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili and Brigadier General Sultan Al Nuaimi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ras Al Khaimah, about the Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence award certificate (in the “Distinguished Federal Unit” category), and the international Stevens Award (in the Leadership and Community Service category), which were obtained by the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ras Al Khaimah. His Highness Sheikh Saif listened to a presentation by Major General Humaid Al Hadidi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police about the Khalifa Award for Education certification (Security Education, for the Community Service category), awarded to Sharjah Police. Brigadier Ahmed Mohammed Nehkairah, Head of Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Juveniles Care Center Steering Committee at Abu Dhabi Police briefed His Highness Sheikh Saif about the Khalifa Award for Education (Education, Rehabilitation and Sustainable Care for the service of community, in the Community Service category), received by the Juveniles Care Center at Abu Dhabi Police. Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, briefed HH Sheikh Saif on the Khalifa Award for Education certification (Law Respect Culture, for the Education Supporting Institutions category), which was awarded to the Bureau.

His Highness Sheikh Saif listened to officers who briefed him at length about the certificates and awards; their goals and importance. He congratulated staff members and distinguished teams for their contributions, which made such achievements possible.
