Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met 22 officers and employees from the Ministry of Interior and its entities, who obtained PhD and Master’s degrees from national and foreign universities and colleges, at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. His Highness also met an officer who received a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese translation.

During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the higher studies presented by the officers. Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of His Highness the Minister of Interior; and a number of officers were present at the meeting.

His Highness congratulated officers for their achievement, expressing his appreciation to the academic milestones reached by nationals. His Highness called upon officers to implement all sciences and skills that they have learned and reflect them on the ground in order to improve performance and enhance the homeland’s security and stability. His Highness wished them the best of luck and success in their endeavors.

The officers expressed their pleasure to meet the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. They appreciated His Highness’s continuous support for science and the development process. They vowed to His Highness that they will continue their efforts and reflect the directives of the higher leadership, as they will work hard to serve the homeland and harness all their capabilities and knowledge for continuous advancement.

The officers who received diplomas are: Major Mohammed Ahmed Al-Braiki from the Police Attaché in London: PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, University of Hertfordshire; Major Ahmed Nasser Al Zaidi from the Traffic and Patrol Directorate at the Police Operations Directorate General of Abu Dhabi Police: PhD in Transportation Engineering, University of Edinburgh, UK; Major Aarif Obeid Al Zaabi from the Human Resources Directorate General at the Ajman Police GHQ: PhD with First Grade Excellence and Honors in Public Law, University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis (UNS), France; Captain Khamis Sultan Al Muhairi from the Police Attaché in France: PhD with Excellence and First Grade Honors in International Law, Pantheon-Sorbonne University, France; Dr. Salim Saeed Al Talei Al Dhahouri from the Forensic Evidence Department at the Abu Dhabi Police: Master’s with Excellence and Honors, Forensic Dentistry (one of the rare specializations across the Middle East), University of Leuven, Belgium; Major Saif Salim Al Rashidi from the Benchmarking Center at the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior: Master of Science with Excellence in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, University of Arkansas, USA; Major Saeed Salim Al Kotbi from the Crisis and Disasters Department at the Directorate General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police: Master in Security Crisis Management with Excellence and Honor, Dubai Police Academy; Captain Hameed Al Raei Nkheira Al Shamsi from the Strategy and Performance Development Directorate General at the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior: Master of Science in Strategy and Quality Management, University of Portsmouth, UK; Captain Abdullah Ali Al Saghiri from the Emergency and Public Safety Department at the Abu Dhabi Police: Master of Police Science in Security Crisis and Disasters Management (field study at Al Mussafah industrial
