Saaed enhances traffic safety through cultural competitions
Saaed for traffic Systems, in coincidence with the GCC Traffic week beginning on 14TH March 2010, has announced the launch of two cultural competitions for the public, to enhance traffic safety on roads.
The first competition is about the most beautiful expressive painting and the other about traffic black points. The second competition involves daily questions and answers through the Company website.
The first competition is open for community members and for all age groups. Participants can submit their paintings through the website at (www.saaed.ae) or in person to the Company Headquarters. The painting can be by a painting brush, caricature or printed posters. The black traffic point's competition can be answered by visiting the above website.
Colonel (Engineer) Hussein Ahmed Al Harthi, Chairman of Saaed Board of Directors has stated that the Company has formed a special committee to evaluate the participants’ contributions in the first competition. Winner's names will be announced during the traffic week in the media and the company website. The winners of the second completion will be shown on the website.
The winner of the first completion will get Dh5, 000, the second Dh 3,000 and the third winner will get Dh2, 000. prize money will allocated for questions of the second completion on daily basis.
Participants are expected to present traffic safety and awareness ideas in a simple way in their paintings. The traffic black point's competition will also educate the public on traffic safety and awareness. The aim of these competitions and their coincidence with the GCC 26th Traffic Week during the period 14 to 26 March 2010 is to communicate with community socially and culturally.
Saeed since its launch in Abu Dhabi has been very keen to care for all community segments in addition to highlighting its social and cultural role in order to be up to the trust placed on it by the State.
