Police Music Band celebrates the national day at the airport

 

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) organized a celebration evening on the occasion of the 39th national day, on Thursday, in collaboration with ADP GHQ and Ministry of Culture, youth and community Development.

Police Music Band participated in the celebrations. The show started with a musical march around Abu Dhabi International Airport. The Band played Emirati patriotic and heritage music. A number of the Band singers sang the famous song of “Hooray Zayed Home” in its old version.

Then the Band staged the famous “Yula dance” where the audience carried away by music and dance. At the end of the show ADAC honored Captain Abdulraheem Ismaeel al Hosani, Head Music Section at ADP Schools Department, Khalid al Katheeri, from the Ministry of Culture. The Company also presented commemorative gifts to the audience and passengers. Then they cut a cake on top of it the flag of the UAE was painted.

Ahmed Al Hadabi, 1st Deputy CEO of Airports Operations at ADAC said “We are pleased as a national company to participate in the country celebrations of the 39th National day, and to organize different activities to entertain employees and passengers with their different ages and nationalities”.

“We aim through the locations of our airports to communicate our genuine values and to promote the noble messages and concepts to built bridges of closer ties between nations. He has thanked all partners in the airport from different ADP Departments for their continuous support to all Abu Dhabi International Airport activities. He has also appreciated ADP Music Band participation and the Ministry of Culture efforts in introducing our heritage to the passengers”, added Al Hadabi.

Captain al Hosani said “The 2nd of December has special appreciation in the hearts of UAE citizens and residents, where the march of glory began under the leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May God rest his soul in peace). The march today is being led by the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan (God bless him)”. He has affirmed ADP Music Band keenness to participate in different national activities”.

Khalid al Katheeri, from the Ministry of Culture said “The Ministry is keen to cooperate with ADAC and ADP, especially in such great occasion which marks the birth of the UAE federation”.
